My first book, What I Mean When I Say I’m Autistic, is now available in paperback, hardcover, and every kind of ebook!

For autistics everywhere, this is a book to help you understand your brain more deeply, with words you can borrow to describe who you truly are.

For non-autistics, it’s a book to see the world through a different kind of mind – one that makes many things hard, and even more things beautiful.

I’m inclined to call this book my “magnum opus,” since it collects and connects all the biggest insights I’ve shared here. But that makes it sound flowery and grand, when it’s actually compact and precise.

So instead, I’m calling it a mix of memoir and manifesto. I’m using autism to make sense of my memories, and using my memories to make sense of autism itself.

If you like my blog, I think you’ll love this book! Learn more or order now.

P.S. I write from my personal experience as an autistic. What I share is not a substitute for advice from an autistic medical professional. Also, some of my opinions have changed since I first wrote them.
